After more than 40 years in the interior design industry, I founded Molinella Design & Consulting as a curated collection of everything I’ve loved throughout my career.

The name Molinella is a tribute to my Italian heritage—specifically the small town just outside of Bologna where my grandfather spent his early childhood before immigrating to the United States.

My background includes many years in the residential homebuilding industry. Beyond interior design, our team specialized in streamlining the building process for clients—helping them manage expectations, understand timelines, and reduce the common stresses that come with building a home. To further that mission, I launched the podcast Before Breaking Ground, designed to educate and empower first-time homebuilders through candid conversations and practical advice.

Currently, we’re developing an online course and companion guidebook that will serve as a comprehensive resource for anyone preparing to build a home. This course will soon be available here on our website.

Finally, our retail section brings together a selection of thoughtfully chosen pieces from some of our favorite vendors—ranging from home décor and culinary finds to delightful gifts for children.
